This is James Panui and his wife Boots, known by family and friends as "Papa and Babu". James is a retired mechanic and is now a minister. He is the father of 12 children; 6 boys and 6 girls. He dedicates his time helping and ministering to others. He loves photography and shares his beautiful pictures with family and friends.
Tanner Shigeta: When I take a picture I try to catch the natural beauty in the things we look at everyday unknowingly making us look at something in a different perspective. I also look for symbology and representations of akuaʻs (or gods) to give a deeper connection to my culture(s) and to show I am proud of who I am and where I have come from. But all in all i just enjoy a nice view.
